About the role
Last-mile and field operations run on the devices in drivers' and technicians' hands. Logibee's Android apps are the execution layer for routes, tasks, proof of service, and customer updates.
As an Android Engineer, you will deliver reliable, performant mobile experiences that work in challenging network conditions and high-accountability environments.
Who can apply
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Android developer using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and NDK where needed.
- Published at least one application on Google Play with production users.
- Strong experience with mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, or MVP) and clean code practices.
- Proficiency integrating RESTful APIs and handling sync, caching, and offline-first scenarios.
- Solid understanding of Android UI principles, testing tools, and the open-source ecosystem.
- Experience with push notifications, cloud messaging APIs, and performance optimization.
- Git fluency, analytical problem-solving, and clear communication with remote teams.
What you will do
- Build and maintain Android features for dispatch, navigation handoffs, proof of delivery, and field workflows.
- Write clean, testable code; run unit and instrumentation tests; profile and optimize live apps.
- Collaborate with backend and product teams to define APIs and ship operator-critical capabilities.
- Resolve production issues quickly — because field teams depend on the app throughout their shift.
- Stay current with Android platform changes and apply them pragmatically to Logibee's apps.
Why Logibee
Mobile is not a companion experience at Logibee — it is where logistics promises are kept or broken. You will build software used in vans, clinics, retail backrooms, and customer doorsteps.
If you want your craft to matter on the ground, not just in the dashboard, this is the role.
